smoking bans

are, like, totally awesome. i may actually be more apt to go uptown for shows nowadays.

on a semi-related note, what is the deal with the sound guys at bars? is it a requirement to set the levels so high that your head vibrates and your brain subsequently liquifies? i know that's sooooo not punk rock, but come on.

I voted for the OH smoking ban and it was the best thing ever. And I'm an ex-smoker. I kind of felt like a traitor.

dg - were you wearing yours last night? i couldn't see you between all the ochi.

tb - thanks for being a traitor. your vote is being put to good use, and you can enjoy it vicariously through me.

sorry, was the sound too loud this morning? :)

Hmm. I'm pretty sure that the definition of "old" is: "complains that the music is too loud." :)

I have been old since I was 6, then. I remember driving around in my sister's BF's VW beetle with the music blasting, and me being miserable and sticking my fingers in my ears.

The loudness? Just damn stupidity.
