hold music:

why?

and the other day -- i swear to you -- i was on hold TO MIDI SONGS.

if that doesn't make you want to kill yourself, i don't know what will.

muzak is the horrible bland music you generally hear piped into elevators and played while you're on hold that makes you want to kill yourself. midi is horrible computerized music created far before mp3s came onto the scene that makes you want to kill yourself FASTER.

Oh. Who makes up these names anyway?

That's why I take the stairs and use email whenever possible.
